Ronald Herbert Brown, Sr., of Beebe, Arkansas, was born December 14, 1944, in Olyphant, Arkansas, to Samuel Herbert and Alta Mae (Holleman) Brown, and he went to be with The Lord Sunday, September 20, 2015. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
He is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Charlotte (Sivley) Brown; his children, Ron (Paige) Brown of Beebe, Shawna (Brent) DuVall of Hattieville, Adam (Melissa) Brown of Beebe; and Mark (Jessi) Brown of Beebe; grandchildren, Ashton, Grant, Emmy Lou, Allee Grace, Brylee, Baylen and Caul; brothers, Ray Brown and Bobby Brown; sisters, Norma Davidson, Nadine Weir, Geraldine Durbin, and Glenda Suttle.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ronnie was better known to most as Pap. He was a very simple man with a huge heart. He always put God first, His family second, and himself last. He loved spending his time at home on the farm tending to cattle and playing with his grandkids. He was a truly devoted husband, father, grandfather, friend, and man of God.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 410 N. Apple St., Searcy, AR 72143.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
