It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roland "Ronnie" Eugene Burroughs (Hot Springs, Arkansas), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on June 18, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends.

He is predeceased by his parents, Lester and Modine Burroughs; his beloved wife and best friend, Mary Walters Burroughs; his daughter, Vicki Lynn Bailey; brother, James "Sonny" Burroughs; and sister, Nadine Timbs.

He is survived by his daughters, Shannon (Jerry) Lawson, Keri Burroughs, Rhonda Spears and Melissa Parks; stepdaughter, Shea Judkins and stepson, Cody (Trish) Slate; granddaughters, Kristin Cantrell, Raychel Palmer, and Bailey Lawson; Sofie Slate; grandsons, Zack (Michelle) Harvey, Haden Judkins, Hayden Davis, Tyler and Clay White; Colin Judkins, Peyton Slate; nieces, nephews, and many great grandchildren; plus his tireless devoted caregiver Brenda.

Arrangements have yet to be finalized but he will be cremated by Smith Family Funeral Home with a memorial service to be determined later.
