Roger Milam

Roger Dale Milam, 67, of North Little Rock passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 3, 2021, after spending holiday time with family and friends. Roger was born on March 8, 1954, to Alfred and Bettie Milam in Marshall, Arkansas. His family moved to North Little Rock when he was young, and he met his future wife, Deborrah, while in third grade at Dr. Burns Elementary. They would later marry at 18 years of age. He spent most of his career as a mechanic working on automobiles and railroad lines. He was an avid NASCAR and folk music fan. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Elvis Milam, Winfred Milam, and Mary Morrison; mother-in-law Edna Roberson; brothers-in-law, Chester Roberson and Frankie Roberson; and grandson John Logan Mashburn.

Roger leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Deborrah; daughter Kellye (Shannon) Mashburn; siblings, Susie Milam and Don Milam; father-in-law Charles Roberson; brother-in-law Harvey Morrison; grandson Samuel Mashburn; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be 2:00pm, Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, North Little Rock, Arkansas, 72114, (501) 758-1170.
