Roger Dale Cox

Roger Dale Cox, 71, of Quitman passed away March 29, 2019. Born January 28, 1948 in Humphrey. Arkansas, he was the son of Wesley Cox and Sarah Warner Cox. He was preceded in death by both parents and three brothers, Joe Cox, Jerry Cox and Melvin Cox.
He is survived by his girlfriend of 20 years, Francis Milholland; sons, Wesley Cox (Kendra) of Little Rock, James Cox (Laura) of Little Rock and Roger Cox II of Quitman; daughters, Sarah Cox of Little Rock and Donna Minick (Paul) of Little Rock; brother, Arvil Cox (Pam) of Little Rock; and sisters, Julia Reed (Fred) of Searcy and Martha Musson of Little Rock and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and long- time friend, Ricky Taylor.
Mr. Cox had plenty of jobs in his lifetime from working on barges to changing tires, and working on semi-tractor trailer trucks. His last job was roofing homes. He loved fishing and working from sun-up to sun¬down to provide for his family. He enjoyed working for Tony Salter and the Miox family.
His services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Griffin Leggett Funeral Chapel, 1751 Dave Ward Drive, Conway 72014. The family would like to express their special thanks to Kindred Hospice.
