Roberta "Robbie" Burris

Roberta “Robbie” Burris, age 78, of Hot Springs, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 31, 2021.

She was born on April 14, 1942, in Riverside, Rhode Island, the daughter of Frank Joseph Frates and Hilda Dorothea Perry Frates. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Stephan H. Vance and J.O. Burris; her parents; and one sister.

Robbie was a strong Christian who relied on her faith. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her family very much.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Melanie Vance of Vero Beach, Florida and Steve and Gina Vance of Hot Springs; three granddaughters, Ashley Vance of Vero Beach, Florida, Zoe Vance and Monique Futrell, both of Hot Springs; her sister, Deborah McLain of Corpus Christi, Texas; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, April 5, 2021 in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Bro. Van Glidewell officiating.

Visitation will be 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.

Interment in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
