Robert Franklin Walls SR.

Robert Franklin Walls SR., a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2025, at the age of 90 in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Born on November 19, 1934, in Corning, Arkansas, Robert was a fun-loving man with a huge heart, known for his caring nature and vibrant personality that touched the lives of everyone around him.

A proud serviceman, Robert dedicated over 20 years of his life to defending our country. He began his military journey in the Army, serving faithfully for four years before transitioning to the Air Force, where he completed an impressive 21 years of service. His commitment to his country was a source of great pride for him, and it exemplified the values of duty and honor that he carried throughout his life.

Robert's love for his family was unparalleled. He cherished his wife, Elizabeth Walls, with whom he shared over 29 years of laughter, love, and cherished memories. Their bond was truly special, as they often found joy dancing the night away to country music—a reminder of the love they held for one another. He is survived by his loving children: Sharon Walls, Bobby Walls JR., Sandy Lee Walls, and Victoria Walls. A host of grandchildren also carry on his legacy.

Outside of family, Robert found joy in nature and leisure. He loved fishing on the serene waters of the White River and Lake Conway. His passion for the outdoors extended to shooting targets in the countryside, where he gathered with friends and family to embrace the simple joys of life. Robert had a deep affection for his beloved German Shepherd, Champ, who faithfully accompanied him for 14 wonderful years—wherever Robert went, Champ was sure to follow.

In reflecting on his life, we remember not only the proud moments but the incredible love he poured into the lives of those he held dear. Though Robert has reunited with those who have passed before him, including his parents, Archiebald and Goldie Walls, his son David Walls, daughter Pam Walls, and siblings Benny and Roy Walls, along with sister Barbara Walls, his spirit remains alive through the countless memories we will all treasure.

As we bid farewell to Robert Franklin Walls SR., let us celebrate a life well-lived, a man who embraced the beauty of life, loved deeply, and cared for all. His infectious spirit and generosity of heart will be forever missed, but he leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire those who knew and loved him.
