Robert Taber

Robert Lee Taber, 63, of Little Rock, died June 3, 2009. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Ray Thomas Taber, his mother, Hattie Menerva Taber and a brother, Kenneth Taber. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Kathryn Taber; one son, Truitt Taber; one daughter, Bobbie Marie Taber; two stepsons, Carl Hirscheider and Ray Hirscheider; adopted son, Sir Gregory Baumgarner; and stepdaughter, Angela Kimbrell; sisters, Fay Rene Dodge, Pauline Rowland, Edna Glass, Linda Gates and Wanda Garlington; brothers, Jimmy Taber and Billy Taber; fourteen grandchildren, one expected great-grandson and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Bob Robert was born on November 19, 1945 in Little Rock. An accomplished mechanic for Voss Heating and Air, he shared his skills with all in his kind, gentle and very giving way. He took great pride in his profession. He showed great compassion for others, and was a protector and gentleman to all the women in his life. Bob Robert was a loving husband, father and a true friend to all. He always walked in love, forgiving all with a smile and kind words from the heart, with respect for all he met.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, June 7 at 4:00 p.m. at the VFW Post 9095, 1121 Gamble Rd., Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to the VFW Post 9095.
