Robert Steiner

Robert (Bob) Carl Steiner, 87, of Cabot, Arkansas, was born June 30, 1927, at Monticello, Iowa, to Carl and Anna (Garrets) Steiner, and passed away Friday, August 22, 2014 at Cabot. He was a charter member of many years of the Lions Club of McHenry, Illinois and a faithful member of Fellowship of Faith Lutheran Church in McHenry. He married Dolores Darlene Steiner March 5, 1950. They were married fifty-two years before she passed March 10, 2002.
He is survived by sons Stan Steiner and Craig Steiner; daughters Penny Bennett (Jim) and Camy Knaack (Jim); ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; sisters Margaret Hermanson and Mary Ellen Goldsmith; and special companion Anna Adams of Anamosa, Iowa.
Memorials may be made to McHenry Lions Club or Fellowship of Faith Lutheran Church in McHenry, Illinois.
Memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 30, 2014, at Briarwood Baptist Church, Cabot, Arkansas, with a reception to follow. A memorial service and interment will be held at a later date at Woodstock, Illinois. Cremation arrangements by Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home.
