Robert Sniff

Robert ?Bob? Burl Sniff, 80, of North Little Rock, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2008. He served in the United States Navy as a Petty Officer during the Vietnam Conflict and was a 1969 graduate of University of Arkansas Law School in Little Rock. Bob was a member of the American Legion, a lifetime member of the Elk?s Club, and a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church. He served on various boards for the City of North Little Rock and was a charter member of P.A. D. Law Fraternity.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Swicegood Sniff; two sons, Robert E. Sniff (Elizabeth) and David E. Sniff all of North Little Rock; three grandsons, Kevin, Tom and Mark Sniff all of North Little Rock; granddaughter, Holly Day (Matt); great-grandson, Samuel Edward Day all of Decatur, Georgia; two brothers, Emmett Sniff of Hamstead, North Carolina and Alva Sniff of West Virginia; and a host of family and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Burl and Helen Sniff and brother, John Bill Sniff.
Memorials may be made to the Lakewood United Methodist Church Building Fund or North Little Rock Elk?s Club Building Fund or Arkansas Hospice.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
