Robert Sheppard
Robert L. "Bob" Sheppard, 80, of Sherwood passed away Thursday, October 15, 2009. He was a member of Sylvan Hills Church of Christ and a decorated United States Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Emigene "Hembrey" Sheppard, of Sherwood; daughter, Kathleen Bell and husband, "Bill" William, of Aiken, South Carolina; and grandsons, Michael Tyler Bell, of Sherwood and Matthew William Bell, of Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Ola Sheppard; and uncle, Lucien Payne.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 505 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Romance Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M., Sunday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St. 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
