Robert Earnest Scott, age 71, of NLR went to be with his Lord on 17, August 2015. He was born on September 27, 1943 to the late Coy and Dorothy Scott of England, AR.

Robert "Bob" spent his life working as a farmer, EMT instructor and in law enforcement. He became the first canine unit for the Arkansas Highway Police in 1990. He and his dog "Hrom" were responsible for multiple drug arrests throughout their career. He retired as a Sargent with the Arkansas Highway Police in 2008 after 20 years of service. Upon retirement, he fulfilled a lifelong dream by purchasing a motorhome and travelling all over the United States with his wife, Ann, and their beloved dogs.

Bob was a member of Northview Baptist Church, Rock City Sams RV Chapter, England Masonic Lodge and was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Ann Dean Scott; a son, Rob Scott and his wife Carol of Conway; a daughter, LeJan Jones and her husband Mark of NLR; 5 grandchildren, Hunter and Blaklee Scott and Dalton, Brody and Caden Jones; a brother, Jim Scott (Nancy); and a sister; Patricia Suter (Kenneth).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 20 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. The memorial service will be Friday, August 21 at 10:00 am, both at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at Mulberry Cemetery in England, AR.
