Robert Michael Satkowski, age 77 of North Little Rock, passed from this life into the arms of his Saviour and Lord on Friday September 10, 2021. He was born January 21, 1944 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Albert and Frances (Moranski) Satkowski. He was a graduate of Sienna College of New York with a B.S. in Economics and Georgia Southern University with an M.B.A. in Business Administration. He served in the U.S. Army from 1966-1971. He rose to the rank of Captain, in Vietnam Conflict (1968-1969) as a combat helicopter pilot, as a part of Dust-Off, picking up and transporting the wounded.

He joined the F.B.I. in 1971, serving in the Savannah and Washington D.C. Field Offices, F.B.I. Headquarters as a Unit Chief and Inspector, Assistant Special Agent-In-Charge of Knoxville Field Office, Special Agent-In-Charge of Richmond Field Office, and finally, Special Agent-In-Charge of the Little Rock Field Office; retiring in 1995. He immediately went right back to work as the Assistant Deputy Director of Criminal Justice Institute Little Rock and then Director of Arkansas Law Enforcement Standards. After 37 years in law enforcement, he finally retired to his beloved horse farm in Faulkner County.

He was a member of Mayflower United Methodist Church where he taught Sunday School and held various positions in the church. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tricia Satkowski Harper; and first wife, Maureen Singler Satkowski. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 45 years, Terry Sue Mann Satkowski; granddaughter, Jenna Harper; son in law, Terry (Melissa) Harper, all of Bryant; sisters, Lorraine Storms of Pennsylvania and Diane Miller of Texas; sisters in law, Robin (Wayne) Smith, Ranellia Mann; nephew, Chad (Erin) Saunders; niece, Lacee Smith Kyle, all of Greenbrier.

Memorial Service will be held at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 3:30 PM. Family will receive visitors immediately afterwards at Mayflower United Methodist Church 14 Hwy 89 N, Mayflower, AR. A private inurnment will occur at a later date at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
