Robert Wayne Sallis, 58, of Little Rock, passed away October 5, 2013. He was born in Little Rock to Albert Richard Sallis, Sr. and Opal Maxine Holderfield Howlett. He was a contract laborer for The Wilson Company for 25 years.
Preceded in death by his parents, sister, Rose Mary Vowell, and nephews, Ricky Vowell and Dennis Andrews, he is survived by his wife of 41 years, Angela Venable Sallis; three daughters, Angela Rene Hudson and husband, Randy of Dallas, Texas, Venetta Lynn Bloom and husband, Albert of Bauxite, and Rose Ann Sallis of Little Rock; six grandchildren, Cassandra Hudson of Dallas, Dakota Wayne Sallis of Little Rock, Brandi Hudson Meza (Emmanuel) of Dallas, Haley Hammons, Alexis Hammons and Christian Hammons, all of Bauxite; sisters, Anna Yonker and Patricia White, both of Little Rock; brothers, Richard Sallis of Bigelow, Guy Sallis of North Little Rock, Greg Sallis of Greenbrier and Gerald Sallis of North Little Rock; step-mother, Velda Sallis of North Little Rock; and many cousins, nephews, nieces, in-laws and friends too numerous to name. He was loved and will be missed by all.
Visitation will be Monday, October 7 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Tuesday, October 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Friendly Chapel Church of the Nazarene, officiated by Rev. Paul Holderfield. Memorials may be made to Friendly Chapel, 116 S.
