Robert Lee Robinette, 48, of Maumelle died Wednesday, November 18, 2015. He was born December 15, 1966 in Little Rock at St. Vincent Infirmary. He was the son of Ronald and Laura Caldarera Robinette. Robert was a graduate of Catholic High School in 1985. He graduated from the U of A Fayetteville in 1989 with a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from U of A Little Rock in 1995. Robert was a Master Electrician, Registered Professional Engineer and past President of the Electrical League of Arkansas. During his 26 years of service at Entergy, Robert held several positions. Most recently he was supervisor of meter services at the Baseline Service Center. For 9 years he was manager of wholesale business for Entergy Arkansas. Between 1991 and 2004 he worked as an engineer and an industrial account representative. Robert donated his time and services to several organizations throughout his life. He loved people and was a friend to all he knew. Robert was on the Riverfest organizing committee and managed the "Go Green" initiative. He also had several hobbies including beekeeping, golfing, fishing and skiing.
He is survived by his parents, Ronald and Laura Caldarera Robinette; brother, Randall Robinette; niece, Alexandra Robinette; grandmother, Hazel Inman Robinette; and fiancée, Bonnie Sellers and her daughter, Chase. Preceding Robert in death are his grandparents, Eugene Robinette, Bernard and Mary Caldarera.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 28th at 2:00 p.m. at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home with a visitation to follow. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
