Robert Pilkinton, Jr.

Robert Morse Pilkinton Jr., 90, of Mayflower passed from this life on July 5, 2021, at the McClellan VA Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born December 30, 1930, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee to the late Robert M. and Mary S. Barnickle (Pilkinton).   Mr. Bob was a missionary for many years and loved to testify and share his love for our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. He often volunteered at several local food pantries during his retired years. Robert will always be remembered as a hardworking and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by eight siblings.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of over Fifty years, Janice Darlene Pilkinton; children, Suzanne Hoskins of Wisconsin, Robert M. Pilkinton III (Lyn) of Indiana, Kimberley Stowe (Randall) of Little Rock and Janice Oulton (Todd Brumley) of Missouri. Other survivors include thirteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.

Robert will be laid to rest at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in a private family ceremony to be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials in his memory may be made to The Tunnel to Towers Foundation .
