Robert "Pete" Dollar

Robert "Pete" Dollar, age 77, of Warren, Indiana, died Saturday, October 29, 2011. He was born on October 4, 1934 in Glenwood, the son of Flay Dollar and Bertha Diggs Dollar. He was a U.S. Army veteran and member of the Warren Church of the Nazarene. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three step-children, Herschel Dowdy, Lola Howard and Ann Black. He is survived by his wife, Essie Dollar; five step-children, James Parker, Larry Parker, Rose Vanness, Linda Kay Tackett and Libby Sue Culley all of Huntington, Indiana; his sister, Edna May Kicson of Elkhart, Indiana; and numerous step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 3, 2011 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. James Parker and Bro. Grady Parker officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in the Grants Chapel Cemetery. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
