Robert Nalley, 80, of North Little Rock, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2008. He was a member of the American Legion and retired from the United Mine Workers Association and the Teamsters' Union.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Maggie Allene Nalley; sons, Robert Nalley Jr. (Carol) of Cabot and James E. Nalley (Jennifer) of Texas; daughters, Karen Martin (Herb) and Connie Nalley of North Little Rock; Patricia Grzandziel (Richard) of Georgia and Kimberly Thornton (John) of Florida; one brother, Ray Nalley (Suzie) and one sister, Mable Nalley, both of Indiana; thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 18, from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March 19 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Jerry Terrell. Memorials may be made to the Indiana Masonic Home, 690 State Street, Franklin, IN 46131 or to Baptist Hospice, 11900 Colonel Glenn Rd., Ste. 2000, Little Rock, AR 72210.
