Robert D. "Dude" Mullins, 87 of Little Rock passed away on Monday, February 8, 2010 in Plainview. He was born on November 8, 1922 in Gumlog, AR; he was the son of William Wesley Mullins and Lela Darter Mullins.
Robert was a retired veteran of the United States Army, who loved his family, and loved to fish at Nimrod Lake with his kids and grandkids.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy Mullins of Little Rock; sister Peggy (Everett) Bene of Little Rock; children Bob (Judy) Mullins of Hot Springs Village, Cliff Mullins of Plainview, Troy Mullins of Little Rock; Lela Leach of Centerville, John David (Anna) Mullins of Plainview, Kenneth (Melba) Mullins of Conway, and Michael Mullins of Ola; sixteen grandchildren, and twenty - two great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, February 12, 2010 at 11:30 a.m., at Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Alexander, with Everett Bene officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Huson Funeral Home in Little Rock.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that charitable donations be made in Robert's memory to Arkansas Children's Hospital.
