Robert Edward McDowell

Robert Edward McDowell age 57, of Gurdon, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022 in Baptist Healthcare in Little Rock. He was born February 15, 1965 to Thurman Robert and Johnnie Watson McDowell.

Rob worked for Veolia in Gum Springs. He previously worked for H & T Truss mill as a draftsman designer. Rob enjoyed hunting, fishing and the great outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his father, T. R. McDowell.

Survivors are his wife, Robyn McDowell; one son, Trent McDowell of North Carolina where he serves in Army Special Operations; his mother, Johnnie McDowell of Little Rock; two sisters, Debbie Dillier and husband, Larry of Bentonville and Patty Waddell and husband, Bill of Little Rock.

Memorial service will be 10:30 AM Saturday, March 5^th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.

The family would like to extend their appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Cidney Hulett and the wonderful team of nurses and staff in the ICU South Unit at Baptist Healthcare in Little Rock.
