Robert Martin

Robert Lee Martin age 97 of Bismarck died Thursday, April 14, 2016. He was born September 20, 1918 in Bismarck the son of William Luke and Alice Pearl Adams Martin. He was a retired crane operator for Reynold's Metals and Baptist by Faith. He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Myrtle Marie Loy Martin, two sons, Mike and Murvin Martin and one daughter Marilyn Bray.

He is survived by his wife Meathol Martin, one son, Don Martin of Friendship, three daughters, Pat Hughes of New DeRoche, and Jean Baker and Barbara Slaughter both of Arkadelphia, , two step-daughters, Peggy Allen of Bonnerdale and Becky Steier of Bismarck, one brother, Carroll "Jack" Martin of Caney, one sister, Beulah Devine of Friendship, 14 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday, April 17th in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel in Arkadelphia with Brother Kenneth Bray officiating. Burial will be in Caney Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
