Robert Kennedy

Robert “Bob” Kennedy, 83, of Mayflower passed from this life on April 7, 2021. He was born January 23, 1938 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Robert P. and Marie L. (Lowman) Kennedy.  He enjoyed camping, fishing, golf, Nascar and feeding the birds in his yard.  Although he had many hobbies and interests, Bob’s greatest joys were found in his family and his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Bob was also the author of a children’s book, Nicholas the Tiniest Star. In addition to his parents, his siblings, Anne Wilson and Daniel Kennedy precede him in death.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of forty-six years, Alice Thompson Kennedy; children, Robin (Myron) McCartney, Stacey (Shane) Taylor and Jennifer (Steven) Hyatt. Other survivors include grandchildren, Rachael (Briley) Emerson, William Young, Amanda and Alisa Young, Steven “Lane” Hyatt III, Kennedy Hyatt, Benjamin Hyatt and Thompson Hyatt along with many nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will begin at noon, Friday, April 16, 2021 at New Life Church in Conway, followed by a memorial service at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bob’s memory may be made to Kid Life, a ministry of New Life Church, 633 South Country Club Rd, Conway, AR 72034.
