Robert Hicks

Robert W Hicks, 88 years, went home to be with the Lord at his home in Beebe, AR on December 1, 2020.

Robert was born on April 5, 1932 in Norman, OK to Talmon and Fannie (Bragg) Hicks.

Robert was a man of great faith and a loving family man.  He stayed busy tinkering, traveling, and working puzzles with his wife Julia.

Robert served 20 years in the United States Air Force.  He was married to Jean Thompson-Hicks until she passed away in 1991.  In May of 1994 he married Julia Mae Benton-Hicks of Beebe AR and they were together for 26 years until she passed away in 2019.  He was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Church of God.

Robert was proceeded in death by his parents, Talmon and Fannie (Bragg) Hicks, Siblings: Arthur, Clarence, Raleigh, Amos, Leano, Edgar, Junior Hicks, Clara, Opel, Ruth; and his son Robert Michael Hicks.

Robert is survived by his children: Patricia (Drew) Droptiny, Deborah (Randy) Latham, Donna (Matt) McCollough, and Howard (Kim) Benton; 11 grandchildren, Josh, Shaun, Christopher, Stacey, Faith, Bruce, Stephanie, Sarah, Matthew, Aaron, and Jaxson; 22 great-grandchildren host of family and friends.

Visitation 6-8pm Friday Dec 4 with the Funeral Service at 11am on Saturday, Dec 5, 2020, both at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe AR.
