Robert W. George, 90, of North Little Rock, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2008. He was retired from the Missouri Pacific Railroad and a United States Navy veteran of World War II. Mr. George was a longtime member of the Levy Baptist Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Bobbilyn Mitchell (Paul) of North Little Rock, Billie Kay Snodgrass (Jerry) of Reston, Virginia; a brother, Gene Lemley (Pat) of North Little Rock; four grandchildren, Nancy Bratton (Ron), Elissa Olechnovich (Peter), Grant Snodgrass, and Lorie Ann Ford; two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Grace Worley and Benjamin Scott Worley; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris H. George; two brothers, Sidney and Hadley George; and a sister, Helen Stanley.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Levy Baptist Church Music Ministry.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M.
