Robert Gatlin
Robert H. Gatlin, 90 of Plumerville, passed away on May 16, 2014 in Plumerville, Arkansas. He was born on January 15, 1924 in Havana, Arkansas; he was the son of Robert Hayse Gatlin and Carmen Gatlin.
Mr. Gatlin was retired from Missouri Pacific (formerly Rock Island) Railroad, and was a United States Navy Veteran of WWII and Korea, as well as a member of Plumerville Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife of sixty-nine years Helen Ruth Gatlin and his parents.
Survivors include his sons Wayne Gatlin of Conway and Billy Gatlin of Plumerville; four grandchildren BJ Gatlin, Jason Gatlin, Jamie Gatlin and Kari Gatlin Tedesco; eigh great-grandchildren, a brother Jimmy Gatlin of Benton and a sister Suda Bailey of Cabot.
