Robert R. Dollar, 79, of Bismarck died Sunday, August 6, 2006, at home.
Born May 25, 1927, in Sedan, Kansas the son of the late Joseph E. and Helen Berniece Howard Dollar. He was a U.S. Army Staff Sergeant in World War II and the Korean War, ordained minister of 50 years, and retired Chief of Chaplains at St. Louis V.A. Hospital.
Survivors include his wife Dolores, and children, Bobby Dollar of Sonoma, Ca., Janet Marshall of Martinez, Ca., Diana Middlebrook and Maryann Casko both of Marysville, CA, 4 grandsons and 5 granddaughters, stepchildren, Vickie Mabile, Debbie Settoon, Mark Mabile, Maria Jacobs, Paula Ward, and Patricia Peno, 14 step-grandchildren, and 1 step-great grandson. Three sisters, Marie Blondefield of Lebanon Junction, Ky., Lois Faulkin of Grant's Pass, Ore., and Jo Trettin of Elk Grove, Ca.
Graveside services will be 11:30 Saturday, Aug 12, 2006 in the Garden of Memories in Metairie, LA. Arrangements by Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home of Arkadelphia.
