Robert Stanley Clark was called home to glory on January 18, 2012 at the age of 68 in his home surrounded by his family.
Mr. Clark was born on April 12, 1943 in Little Rock, Arkansas and was a life long resident of Mabelvale. He enlisted into the U.S. Army Reserve in 1964, serving his country for six years. He was employed by CATS for 15 years and retired from Riggs, Inc. where he was employed for more than 15 combined years. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing and gardening; passing on the passion to his children and grandchildren.
Mr. Clark is survived by his loving wife and soul mate of nearly 33 years, Thlema June (Cochran) Clark; their children Amanda June Edmondson and son, Travis and Robert Bryan A. Clark and significant other Debra L. Moore; his children Robbi A. Huffmire and husband Gene, Jon Christopher Clark and wife Laura, Cynthia L. Clark; step children Rhonda R. Long and husband Robert, and Angela Kelley; mother, Thelma Louise Clark; brothers, William Clark, and Gary Clark and wife Tish; sisters, Denna Shelton and husband, Keith, and Debra Burdess; 17 grand children, 4 great grand children, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Welcoming him with "heavenly water" are his son Stanly Todd Clark; son-in-law, Patrick L. Edmondson; father, Bryan Lee Clark; and grandparents, John and Gertrude Hadley.
Family wishes to express deep gratitude for Arkansas Hospice and Kris of Little Rock Cancer Clinic.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 23, 2012 from 1 - 2:00 P.M. at Huson Funeral Home with graveside services to follow at Forest Hills Cemetery at 2:30 P.M. with Don Chancellor officiating.
