Robert "Bob" Morrison

Robert Guy “Bob” Morrison, 80, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022.  He was born September 22, 1942, in Washington D.C. to James and Jonnie (Carden) Morrison.  Bob served for 23 years in active duty for the United States Air Force and was Honorably discharged holding the rank of Captain. He continued to work for the Air Force as a Civilian for another 21 years before he retired. During his enlistment, he was awarded the: Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Good Conduct Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal. During his civilian Federal employment, he was awarded the: Air Force Outstanding Civilian Career Service Award Medal and the Army Achievement Medal for Civilian Service. After retirement, he served as a member of the White County Master Gardener Association since 2005.  There is a Butterfly Garden bearing his name at Daniel Park in Beebe Arkansas.

Bob is survived by sons Kenneth Morrison of Gig Harbor, Washington; Wesley (Autumn) Jones of Benton; and Brian (Nancy) Jones of Lake City, Pennsylvania; two grandchildren, Josie Jones and Wylee Jones; sister Patricia Bolian of Nashville, Tennessee; and brother Gerold Morrison of St. Petersburg, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Morrison, and granddaughter, Amara Jones.
