Robert Lee Blevins

Robert Lee Blevins, 50, of North Little Rock gained his Heavenly reward on November 13, 2024. Robert was born on September 2, 1974 to Linda Garner Blevins and Robert (Bob) Blevins. Robert was blessed with a beautiful tenor voice and loved to sing old Christian Hymns from a very early age. He could often be found behind his pulpit, songbook in hand, leading singing. 

Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Garner Blevins, his maternal grandparents, Lorene and Leroy Garner and his paternal grandparents, Dorotha and Lavelle Blevins. He has now joined them and is singing with the Heavenly choir. 

A lifelong member of Levy church of Christ, Rob left a mark on many lives, especially those closest to him. He is survived by his father, Robert (Bob) Blevins (Elvada), and his best friend - brother Jared and his favorite sister in law, Mary Blevins. He was Uncle Rob to Nathan Blevins, and Ana, Seth and Cable Owen. This was his most favorite role. Also left to grieve are Robert's aunts, uncles, cousins, life-long friend, Alex VanPelt and "friend like a sister", Marci Barton. 

Rob's biggest accomplishment in life came when his mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. He was the very best care giver to her and attended to her with love, patience and a steadfastness that revealed the gentle spirit for which Rob was known. An avid Razorback fan, he could be found in front of the TV on game days; always positive that his Hogs would win. 

The family requests that memorials be made to River City Ministry in North Little Rock where Robert enjoyed working for many years. 

A visitation with the family will be held at Levy church of Christ on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 A.M.
