Robert "Bob" Lake Barrett, 59, of Maumelle passed away Thursday, December 8, 2016. He was born September 26, 1957 at Loring Air Force Base, Maine to Jim and Frances Barrett. Bob grew up in Cabot, Arkansas and graduated from Cabot High School. He was a computer programmer and web developer. He was a devout Catholic, a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Little Rock and a Eucharistic Minister for many years.
Bob is survived by his siblings, Philip Barrett of North Little Rock, Harry Barrett (Beverly) of Cabot and Linda Hrynyk, of Cabot; nieces, Chrissy Bradford, Julie Annett, Mary Hrynyk, Katie Hrynyk; nephews, Jason and Justin Hrynyk; his special friend, Angela Bagby; and other extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be made to Christ the King Catholic Church, 4000 N. Rodney Parham Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72212 or UAMS Cancer Research Center, 4301 W. Markham, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, December 12th at Christ the King Catholic Church followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 13th at Christ the King Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
