Robert Armstrong

Robert "Big Bob" Armstrong, Sr., age 69, of Ward, Arkansas, passed away July 8, 2011. "Big Bob" was a strong man with a big heart who loved his family and friends dearly. He was a dedicated member of the Patriot Guard. Bob was a retired Chief of the Lake Maumelle Volunteer Fire Department. He was preceded in death by a son; his parents; one brother; and one sister. Bob is survived by his wife, Verna; three sons; two daughters; thirteen grandchildren; one great-grandson and countless friends.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. A memorial service will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Westbrook Funeral Home.
