Rl Shelley
RL Shelley was born March 21, 1940 in Algoa, Arkansas and went to be with the Lord on February 11, 2021 in Conway, Arkansas.
He was a 21 year Army Veteran and was in Vietnam twice. He also was a retired diesel/automotive mechanic. He loved to hunt, fish and spend time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother Jess and Florine Shelley. One brother, Monroe Shelley, one son Rusty Shelley and one granddaughter, Cynthia Shelley.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years Elvira Shelley, one son and his wife, Randal & Beth Shelley, One grandson Jesse Shelley. His two brothers, Herman (DeeAnna) Shelley, Carl (Betty) Shelley and four sister-in-laws- Gail Shelley Baty, Elisabeth (Richard) Sharp, Josepha Pence and Helga Bayerl. Many nieces and nephews and a host of friends and VA Family, Joe, Kim, Melissa and Becky.
Graveside services will be held at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at Birdeye 3600 Hwy 163
