Rita L. Manfredini

Rita L. Manfredini, 85, of Sherwood, AR passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019.  She was born in Chicago, IL on April 15, 1934.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Eugene F. Manfredini, her mother Gladys McNeal Leggett and her stepfather Leo Leggett.

Mrs. Manfredini is survived by three daughters, Deborah R. Manfredini-Bailey of Sherwood; Rebecca Revis and husband Bill of Little Rock; Catherine Manfredini-Cohen and husband Howard of Mill Valley, CA; four grandchildren, Giovanna Bailey of Coshocten, Ohio, Matthew Bailey of Van Buren, AR, Lauren Cohen of Brisbane, Australia and Emily Cohen of Los Angeles, CA; five great-grandchildren; a brother Joseph Leggett and his wife, Janice of Palm Desert, CA and a sister Nancy Ross and husband Mel of Las Vegas, NV.

Mrs. Manfredini had worked as a bookkeeper at several Air Force Base exchanges and served for 10 years as a substitute teacher at Sylvan Hills Junior High School.  She was an eager Bingo player and at various times played at the Moose Lodge and VFW Club in Sherwood, and at the Jack Evans Senior Citizen Center in Sherwood and very much enjoyed going out to lunch with other seniors at the center; she was a collector of miniature Christmas houses, vintage paper dolls and enjoyed reading, and working various word puzzles.

A Memorial Tribute Service to Celebrate her Life will be Friday 3:00 p.m., January 3rd  at Smith-Sherwood Funeral Home (7700 Hwy 107). Visitation will be prior to service from 2:00-3:00 p.m.
