Riley Thew

Riley Thew, age 34, of Mount Ida, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020. He was born on February 8, 1986 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of Melvin Thew and Lynne Wisdom Thew. Riley enjoyed working with computers, electronics and technology, in general. He was employed by the Mount Ida Public School District as a computer technician. Riley enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to music concerts. He is survived by his daughter, Addison Rylee Thew of Mount Ida; his parents, Melvin and Lynne Thew of Mount Ida; two brothers, Samuel James Thew of Greenville, Texas and Jack Troy Thew of Mount Ida; his maternal grandmother, Oleta Williams of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 23, 2020, in the Joplin Cemetery with Bro. Josh Harper officiating. Pallbearers will be Samuel Thew, Troy Thew, Justin Weston, Michael Thew, Jacob Thew and Cody Standridge. Honorary pallbearers will be David Williams, Joshua Thew, James Weston, Jacob Deramo, Michael Deramo, Zack O'Kelly and Jack Thew.
