Ricky Gene Weaver, age 64, of Hot Springs, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022. He was born in Rockwall, Texas on December 15, 1957, the son of Horace Weaver and Mary Yarbrough-Weaver.
Ricky attended school in Hot Springs Arkansas. From there he married and worked construction and different manual labor jobs. Ricky was good with his hands, in fact in his younger years you would always find him under a hood, working on a vehicle or beside a motorcycle.
Some of Ricky’s passions were his love for Harley motorcycles and his need to always go fast. He also enjoyed fishing and gardening beside his brother Dale Weaver, even if they didn’t see eye to eye sometimes. Ricky lived one day at a time, and he always believed in tomorrow.
Ricky enjoyed helping others, he was the kind of man that if he had a dollar, then you had 50 cents. He was baptized in 2022 and attended The Church of the Open Door. One of his dearest friends, and a close confidant was his Pastor, Terry Frye. While Ricky had many friends, he was a personal man with many dreams and goals. He is forever loved and will be remembered for the memories and moments that he impacted those lives around him.
Ricky was preceded in death by his parents.
Left to Cherish his memories are his loving daughters, Fancy Ann, Amy, Alesha and Savanna; his sister, Norma Boltshauser; his two brothers, James Skeeter Weaver and Ervin Dale (Denise) Weaver; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; four nieces, Penny Sue, Brenda, Linda and Sheila; and two nephews, Christopher and Dylan.
