Ricky L. Provence

Ricky Lee Provence of Amity passed away on December 28, 2023 at the age of 64. He was the son of Fred Provence, Iona Lee Provence, and his stepmother, Vera Provence, and was married to Dorothy Provence. Ricky was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Kenneth Ray Provence; and his sister, Freda Sue Provence.

He loved the outdoors, especially going fishing, spending time with family and friends, and going to church.

He leaves behind two sons, Ricky Ray and wife Sheila Provence of Amity, and Randall Provence of Murfreesboro; two daughters, Christina Sipes and husband Kory of Post, Texas, and Sheila Morris and husband Ray of Seagraves, Texas; thirteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and numerous half and step-brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

The family will be holding a memorial service at Genesis Community Church in Amity at 2:00 PM on January 4, 2024, with Pastor Dave Tunnell officiating.
