Ricky Lee Madden

November 17, 1966 — December 9, 2021

Ricky Lee Madden

Ricky Lee Madden was born on November 17, 1966 to the late James L. Madden and the late Bertha Marshall. He was blessed to be born in a loving family. Ricky grew to love God and cherish God’s word and over the past year focused his attention on prayer. He would sit and pray for each person that had crossed his path over his lifetime (friends and foe).

He was known to be an excellent saxophonist at Hall High School where he graduated in the class of 1985. He attended Philander Smith College and graduated from the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree. He was united in holy matrimony to Cecile M. Brown and they celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary on 6/22/21.

Rick worked at Baptist Hospital, Springhill for 28 years. He met so many wonderful people that he regarded as his friends and would often happily share his fond memories.

He departed his earthly journey on December 9, 2021 at Baptist Hospital, Conway. He loved his family so much and he will be greatly missed.

He leaves to cherish his memory: Lacey Lynn Madden, his 4 legged fur baby; wife, Cecile B. Madden; daughter, Lauren V. Madden; brother, Derrick Marshall (Angel) of North Little Rock, Arkansas; aunts, Bettye L. Madden of Detroit, Michigan and Eddie Joe Williamson of Little Rock, Arkansas; uncle, James Marshall of Little Rock, Arkansas; nieces, Brianna Marshall of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Kianna Marshall of North Little Rock, Arkansas; Bryunna Brown of Jacksonville, Arkansas; Alicia Cox (Detric) of Conway, Arkansas and Clarissa Collins (Duran) of Garland, Texas; nephews, Dontrell Jones of North Little Rock, Arkansas, George Brown Jr. of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Drake Brown of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Charles Evans Jr. of Conway, Arkansas and a host of family and friends.
