Rickie Joe Bauer, 63, of North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017. He was born November 3, 1953 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Joseph Karl and Rose Eckelhoff Bauer. He was a devoted Catholic and loving husband, father and grandfather.
Rickie is survived by his wife of 41 years, Dianne Bauer; children, Mary Bridget Noland (Preston) and Jonathan Bauer (Jessica); grandchildren, Nathan, Owen, Nora and other extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to ALS In Wonderland, www.alsinwonderland.com , or ALS Association, www.alsa.org , or Arkansas Hospice, www.arkansashospice.org .
A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., followed by a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 6, 2017 at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 211 West 19th Street, North Little Rock.
