Richard "Rick" Wayne Wilson, 55, of Mabelvale, Arkansas passed away October 2, 2016. He was born May 1, 1961 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Richard and Jeanette (Sanders) Wilson.
Rick was the best...with everything. The best dad, the best friend, the best worker. You name it...he was just the best. Rick never met a stranger. He was the type of man to help everyone out. He would give you the last dollar in his wallet and the shirt off his back. He was the person everyone would call when they needed their spirits lifted or if you just needed a good laugh. Rick loved to hunt and ride motorcycles. He enjoyed listening to blues music and is known as a "redneck hippie". Most importantly, Rick was a man of God and loved the Lord with all his heart.
He leaves to cherish his memories three children, Hope Wilson, Thor Wilson, and Tyler Wilson; parents, Richard and Jeanette Wilson; grandmother, Dessie Sanders; step-mother, Brenda Wilson; siblings, Les Wilson and wife Julie, Shane Lewis and wife Kristy, April Wilson, Vikki Wolf and husband Matt, Genny Wilson Flores and husband Tony, and Kim Ketelsen; mother of his children, Julia Wilson; brother-in-law, Josh Ketelen; nieces, Keisha Wilson Henson and Holly Wilson; special friends, Donnie Tackett, Jamie Stancil Lee, Paul Merritt; and many other family members and friends who loved Rick and will miss him always.
