Richard Henry Sforzini, Jr., 65, of Little Rock, passed away December 19, 2013. He was born in Nuremburg, Germany to Richard H. and Corinne Lorenz Sforzini. He was an active member of the Cathedral of Saint Andrew. A graduate of Auburn University and Vanderbilt University School of Law, he was Judge Advocate General in the U.S. Air Force. Most recently, he practiced as an attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice. He was a member of the Florida, Alabama, Arkansas and Tennessee Bar Associations.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Flowers Sforzini; daughter, Christine Fox; son, Richard H."Hank" Sforzini III and wife, Sarah Catherine; his parents; granddaughter, Shelby Burleson; brothers, Andy, Mike, Steve and Mark; sisters, Sue and Debbie; and brother-in-law, Charles W. Flowers II.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 22 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. G. Matthew Garrison and Rev. Tom Marks on Monday, December 23 at 10:30 a.m. at the Cathedral of Saint Andrew, preceded by the Rosary at 10:00 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will follow the Mass at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
