Richard "Dickie" Pyle, 70, of North Little Rock, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014. He served in the United States military, retiring as a Master Sergeant. He worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone and retired after 30 years. Dickie loved fishing, horse races and was a diehard Cowboy fan.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Pam Pyle; children, Sheila Hollinger (Bob), Scarlett Yates (Ken), Jan Sanders (Kris) and Jason Pyle; seven grandchildren, Nick and Zack Hollinger, Shelby, Karson and Ethan Yates, Kylee Sanders and Jackson Pyle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto C. and Edith M. Larkin Pyle; brother, James Larkin Pyle, and a son, Jack Edward Pyle.
Memorials may be made to Catholic High School, 6300 Father Tribou Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205 or Mount St. Mary, 3224 Kavanaugh Blvd, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
