Richard Truel Payne, 67, of McRae, Arkansas passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022. He was born December 1, 1954, to Truel Coy and Ruby Janell (Sadler) Payne, in Arizona.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Rebecca Payne; son David Ryan Payne of Tennessee, daughter Colleen Janell Kelly of South Carolina; his mother, Janell Payne, of McRae; five grandchildren; 17 step grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Richard was preceded in death by his father, Truel Payne; and brothers Randy Payne, Richard Payne, and Jackie Payne.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Lebanon Cemetery in McRae. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home. Please visit www.SmithFamilyCares.com/westbrook to sign the online guest book.
