Richard Dale Lovell Sr.

Richard Dale Lovell, 67, of Bauxite, Arkansas passed away February 21, 2023. Richard was born August 29, 1955 to the late Jack Vander Lovell and Martha Ann (Shell) Lovell.

Richard was a true family man. He was a very good father, great grandfather, and amazing husband. His dogs were special and part of the family.  Richard was always extremely supportive of his family. No matter if you were right or wrong, he was always there to support you. He was kind hearted, hard working, stubborn, and set in his ways. Richard loved to read his Bible and was a proud member of The Bethel Church. He was selfless and would give you the shirt off his back with no hesitation.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents: Jack Vander Lovell and Martha Ann (Shell) Lovell; and brother, Jeff Lovell.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Sue Lovell; four sons: Mike Lovell, Kris Lovell, Shawn Lovell (Shana), and Richie Lovell (Christina); grandchildren: Mikey, Kristopher Jr. (Ayrien), Dakota, Asha (Adam), Shelby, Addisyn, Kayla; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Allen Lovell (Fran); special friend, Rick Elrod; as well as a host of other family members and friends that will all miss him dearly.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 1, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Smith-Benton Funeral Home with Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Gravel Hill Cemetery following the service.
