Richard Franklin King passed away on June 29, 2019. He was born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina on August 25, 1937.
Frank King was an adventurer. In his youth, he drove stock cars. In his old age, he drove a Nascar at Daytona. He and Sharon traveled to many places and had a lot of fun. Frank always loved a joke and made people laugh, even to his last days. He was generous with his time to his family and community. He worked with Meals on Wheels for ten years. The world has lost a wonderful man and Heaven has gained one.
Frank is survived by his wife, Sharon; his son, Keith; many grandchildren; and his brother, Wayne.
A memorial service will be held August 24 at his home.
