Richard Tyler Jackson, age 32, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023.
He was born on November 15, 1990, in Hot Springs, the son of Waylon Jackson and Kimberley McKinnon Jackson. He is preceded in death by his father; his paternal grandparents; two aunts, Emily Anderson and Janette McKinnon; and one uncle, Jimmy McKinnon, II.
Richard graduated from Hot Springs High School in 2010. He worked for FedEx Ground and Kroger #621. He was a hardworking man and when he wasn’t working, he just enjoyed relaxing at home watching television. He was a quiet person, some might even say a homebody, but he did enjoy fishing, watching movies and he loved his family with his whole heart.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother and stepfather, Kim and Shawn Keele; his brother, Trevor Jackson; his maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Sally McKinnon; two aunts, Julie McKinnon and Rhonda Jackson and husband, Gean; brother, Matthew Westmoreland; several cousins, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
Graveside service 10:30AM, Saturday, September 2, 2023, in the Academy Cemetery in Nathan with Larry McKinnon and Brian Doyle officiating. Visitation will be 6:00PM-8:00PM, Friday, September 1, 2023, in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs.
Pallbearers are Sam Oliver, Michael Byram, Ron Osborne, Cameron Creech and Erik Draper.
Honorary pallbearers are Chris Holzer, his co-workers of Kroger #621 and his co-workers of FedEx Ground.
