Richard Wayne Galloway age 67 of Benton, AR passed away February 25, 2011 at the Saline Memorial Hospice House in Bryant, AR.
Richard was born December 6, 1943 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to parents Walter and Beulah Galloway. He was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church in Meeker, Oklahoma. Richard was a truck driver by trade.
He is survived by his wife Janis Galloway of Benton; 2 daughters Sheila Ann Galloway-Tannehill and husband Ray of Paden, Oklahoma and Lisa Ann Reynolds and husband Jeff of Prague, Oklahoma; 2 sisters Adamae Helms and husband Bob of Checotah, Oklahoma and Thelma Spencer and husband Clary of Jones, Oklahoma; 1 grandson Dustin "Willy" Wilson of Stillwater, Oklahoma and a number of step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and a host of friends who all will miss him greatly.
He is preceded in death by his parents Walter Preston Galloway and Beulah Elizabeth Galloway-Wagoner.
Visitation will be from 6:30 to 7:30 Monday, February 28, 2011 at Peaceful Haven Funeral Home in Benton, AR. Graveside services will be at Pine Crest Memorial Park in Alexander, AR at 3:00 Tuesday March 1, 2011 followed by the interment.
The family has requested that donations be made directly to Peaceful Haven Funeral Home to help with the cost of the funeral services any donations above the cost of the funeral will go to Saline Memorial Hospice House in Bryant, AR. The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Saline Memorial Hospice House in Bryant for the kindness and care shown to Richard during his illness.
