Richard Andrew Davis

Richard Andrew Davis, age 65, of Fort Smith, passed away from this life on March 8, 2023.

He was born on August 28, 1957, in Arkadelphia, the son of William Andrew Davis and Patricia Ann Short.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda; his parents; and his brother, Jerry Don Davis.

On March 1, 2013, Richard married the woman he loved unconditionally, Nancy Elaine Miller. Richard was a proud veteran. For 30 years Richard owned and DJed his karaoke business, the Pink Panther. He never met a stranger; he loved to tease people and make them laugh. He was always watching some kind of sport on TV. Most of all he loved to spoil his grandchildren. To know Richard was to love Richard and he will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Nancy Davis of Fort Smith; his two sons, Jason Davis of Calico Rock, Andy Williamson of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; his four stepsons, Joshua Anderson of Fort Smith, Dylan Anderson of Fort Smith, Kevin Anderson of Fort Smith, and Robbie Dearing of Muldrow, Oklahoma; his two stepdaughters, Helen Barnhart of Roland, Oklahoma, and Salina Heap of Fort Smith; his ten grandchildren; his brother, David Davis; his five sisters, Janeice Brunt, Sarah Whisenhunt, Earlene Snyder, Kay Bowen, and April Wilder; his special friends, Loran and Paula McGrew, John and Andrea Belcher, Linda Lamb, and Brandy Dorman; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of wonderful friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 11, 2023, in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. Ricky Snyder officiating.

Visitation will be held Saturday, 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, at the funeral home.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jonathon Brunt, Byron Brunt, Ricky Snyder, Jeff Synder, Loran McGrew, and John Belcher.

Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home-Glenwood, 209 North Third Street, Glenwood, AR 71943.
