Richard Cummings
Richard LeRoy Cummings, 73, of Benton, Arkansas passed away on January 4, 2023. Richard was born January 12, 1949 to the late Jesse Lester Cummings and Alta Ruby (Anderson) Cummings.
Richard loved helicopters and other military aircraft, golf, dogs, fishing, and music. He had an amazing sense of humor. Richard was very proud of his home on Pearle Lake. He was a career Military man in the United States Army. Richard was a Vietnam Veteran and a true Patriot!
Richard is preceded in death by his father and mother, Jesse L Cummings and Alta R Cummings; sister, Carol J Cummings; and grandson, John L Hank IV.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Angela Brown; grandsons, Carson N Brown and Jack Brown; brother, John R Cummings Sr (Shelley); nephews: John R Cummings Jr, Garrett Cummings, Shane Cummings and Jess Cummings (Heather); many great-nieces and great-nephews; bonus daughters: Tricia Lewis, Denise Effler and, Karen Withers; as well as a tremendous number of friends and his fellow Veterans from VFW Post 9095.
Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, January 14th at 2 PM at VFW Post 9095,1121 Gamble Rd, Little Rock, AR 72211.
