Richard Bender
Richard David Bender, 70, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, November 4, 2013. He was a Razorback fan, Elks and American Legion member, Navy Veteran and had a great sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mary Price Bender; son, Earl Bender and wife, Melanie, of Bay Minette, Alabama; daughter, Deirdre Bender, of North Little Rock; and five grandchildren, Chris Via, Lauren Via, of North Little Rock, Clay Bender, Sarah Bender and Amber Bender, of Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Floreine Hayes Bender and his brother, Charles Bender.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
