Richard Jean Baker, 68 of Little Rock passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020. He was born to Gerard "Jerry" and Betty Sue (Thatcher) Baker on April 29, 1951. He was a natural born salesman, a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity Little Rock Chapter.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Sue Baker of Little Rock, siblings, Michael Baker (Giny) of Illinois, Elizabeth Baker (Vic) of California, Mary Baker of Little Rock, Raymond Baker (Brenda) of Little Rock, Thomas Baker (Debbie) of Little Rock, Robert Baker of North Carolina, Teresa Baker (Nick) of Little Rock, John Baker (Pamela) of Minnesota and Karolyn Baker Thompson (Roger) of Little Rock. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Gene Shelby of Hot Springs, and an abundance of nieces and nephews and an excessive amount of cousins and other family members. He is preceded in death by his father, Gerard "Jerry" Baker, sister, Katherine Baker, grandparents, H.K. and Lila Thatcher.

Visitation will be Friday, February 7 at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Rosary at 7:00, at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Christ the King Catholic Church on Saturday, February 8 at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at Edgewood Memorial Park in North Little Rock. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Adopt A Vet., P.O. Box 13557, Maumelle, AR 72113.
