Rhine Seymore

Rhine Seymore, 83, of Gum Springs, Arkansas, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023, at Nightingale Nursing Home in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.

He was born May 14, 1939, in Thornton, Arkansas, to John Seymore and Corine Parnel Seymore.

Rhine graduated from Arkadelphia High School in 1957.  He then earned his bachelor’s degree from Henderson State University.  He used that degree to become a sportswriter for several different newspapers.  Rhine retired from The Pine Bluff Commercial Newspaper.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Charles Seymore.

Left to cherish his memory is his brother, Larry (Kathy) Seymore of Gum Springs; his sister-in-law, Dana Seymore of Missouri and several nieces and nephews.

Rhine’s graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 20, 2023, at Bethel Cemetery near Bearden, Arkansas.
